Monday March 31st 7:30 to 10:00 pm

An evening of art dedicated to the organizers and activists working towards peace and justice. The idea is to invite full time organizers and activists who have been working against the war in for an evening dedicated to them. to affirm the work they are doing, and hopefully inspire them for what appears to be a long road ahead.

Join Kazim Ali, Henry Chalfant, Shelia Mirza, Steve Colman, Suheir Hammad, Emanuel Xavier, Safiya Martinez, Mike Ladd, Sabrina Margarita Alcantara-Tan, Beau Sia, Jennifuh Leathuh, Georgia Me, Steve Zeitlin, Mayda DelValle, and Heide Goertzen– as we celebrate and honor the work of our grassroots organizers. They keep our streets ours, and our purpose clear – equality and justice for all.

If you are not an activist but used to be, hang out with, sleep with, read about, gossip about, dress like, aspire to be, write about, and
or support activists, you are welcome; along with a $20.00 admission fee. This money will be donated to MADRE’s campaign to get milk and medicine into Iraq. Please help us respect the space and the work of others by adhering to this request.
